It's Time to Write
You have a message to share with the world, a book waiting to be born, a story you need to tell.
But for some reason you're not getting the writing done.
Maybe you don't have time or you lose focus because you're creative mind is all over the place.
Maybe you're afraid you're not good enough.
Perhaps it's because you feel your muse has taken a vacation.
It could be you watch all of your friends get published and wonder what you're doing wrong. I used to do that. Comparison doesn't motivate.
It took me a few years to understand why I wasn't getting published, too.
Here's what I finally realized...
I wasn't writing consistently. I would lose focus or be so busy I wouldn't have time to write. But mostly I was afraid. I didn't pitch my novels enough. I would get discouraged and move onto the next project or forget about writing for a while.
But not writing leaves me feeling cranky and disappointed. When we don't do the work we're called to do, we begin to lose touch with our soul.
So, how do you start writing consistently? How do you persist?
Here's what I did...
First, you decide you're a writer.
Second, you write because that's what writers do.
Third, you set up a schedule and you write consistently.
And during all of this, you learn to ignore your demons.
Resistance will rear its ugly head. Your critic will tell you all the reasons you're not good enough. A voice from your past will haunt you.
Ignore them all and write.
And how do you ignore them? You build a strong foundation by doing the inner work. And still you will be challenged. I spent years in frustration. It was only by doing the inner work that I was able to claim the title of writer, develop my voice and finally begin publishing.
It’s your choice. You always have choice. Don’t make excuses anymore.
We need your story, your message, your ideas. It’s time to honor your gift and write. When you do, others will begin to do so as well.
Count me as one of those who believes in you. Find others who do too. Surround yourself with writers who write and let’s all lift one another and the profession to a place where we are honored.
To help us do this I’ve created a Facebook group based on The Pro Writer Keys aka The Success Predictors. The keys encompass the pro mindset and lifestyle.
Below you'll find the group and three other ways you can begin to work with me to get the writing done.

What people are saying about Joanne
As a Guide...
If you ever need someone to talk to, someone with no agenda, no pep talk or tough love, someone who meets you with energy that's clean like a white canvas, then talk to Joanne. I'll never be able to thank her enough for the support she showed me in such a critical time in my life.
~ Laura M. Courrau
As a Writer...
Joanne was very easy to work with. She hit it out of the park the first time around (which is unusual in my niche market). She is definitely my "go to" person for content writing. Great job! I can't wait to work with her again!
~ Tami Mullen, Intuitive Group
"A lovely writer and a terrific story-teller!"
~ Brett Hodges, Owner & Creator of Right Pet
FANTASTIC!!! Joanne wrote an interesting article that perfectly fit my audience. Great examples, well written and well organized.
She NAILED IT!!!
