My Path to Weaver of Worlds and Realities
I’m fascinated by words and worlds. I always have been. Before
I could read or write I was obsessed with words and books as well as the spirit world. My curiosity about everything was and still is endless.
I became a storyteller, what I like to call a weaver of words and worlds, before I could put stories on paper. I would tell them through my dolls and by the time I was eight I began experimenting with writing and putting on plays in the basement of my childhood home.
At that age I also became an investigator into the nature of reality. A friend and I explored the spirit world through seances of sorts on a few occasions and I read all the books in the library on the paranormal.
It wasn't until I was a teenager that the poet in me was born. My eighth grade English teacher taught us how to write a Haiku. It felt like I was making magic with words. Metaphor infiltrated my consciousness and changed me forever. As did reading a book on spells. Magick began to infiltrate my life in many ways.
Later I realized that stories weren't only things you made up. It dawned on me that everyone has their own story to tell. I began to think about how important our stories are to us. Then I thought about the stories I told myself, especially the ones that weren't very empowering. Could I tell a more empowering story? I found out that I could. Could I help others tell a more empowering story about their lives? What if I could help them see how wonderful they truly are? I started to realize that we are all weavers of our own world.
My story is about the path of self-discovery. More formally it's a path that I've been on for nearly 18 years. First I became a Priestess of Ma'at (the goddess of harmony and right order) in the Fellowship of Isis and then a Licensed Practitioner of the Science of Mind & Spirit Philosophy through Centers for Spiritual Living. Actually, I resonate with the interspiritual movement and follow many paths including Paganism, Science of Mind & Spirit, Hermeticism, Creation Spirituality and Buddhism.
So far life has been a fabulous journey and I've used all that I learned on the spiritual path to make it less bumpy than it might have been. Now I'm being called to help others. I look forward to being of service to you. Join me! Let's do the Great Work together.
